The aim of golf is to skilfully line up and hit a small ball a large distance ultimately landing it in the hole in the middle of a soft green...

Golf is one of the few ball games that isn't played in a standardised playing area; rather, it is played on golf courses, each one of which has a unique design. The same could be said for the game of finding someone and starting a relationship. No two people are the same, just as no two relationships are the same and as many of you will a test to, there certainly is no such thing as a 'standardised playing ground' in fact the rules seem to change every minute without notice or warning!

Therefore not unlike a golfer, when entering a new relationship you must carefully gauge the situation, decide on your next move and be patient to see the results. If you play your game right you might just land that 'hole in one' and be able to bask in the glory of a successful game... or great relationship!

So ladies, if you meet someone who is an avid golfer, think more about getting to know him... you just never know, his patience and interest in taking the time to get to know you may just make it all worthwhile!
