We knew we'd found our soul mates

Nick and I first made contact on the 26th of February 2007. I was a single mum and was convinced all the good guys were taken.

I received an email from a guy called Mavva late Sunday evening though I didn't manage to read it until the Monday morning. I immediately looked at his age (27 at the time) and thought he was too young, my profile clearly said 30-35. I continued reading and found we actually had quite a lot in common. I then read his email which was kind yet not pushy.

I replied and heard back from him that afternoon. We exchanged phone numbers and had a quick conversation to arrange our first meeting. We had our first dinner date that Thursday the 1st of March. He blew me away... so mature yet fun!

We had our second date two days later where I allowed him to meet my one year old son. Over the next few weeks, we were inseparable! He completed me in every way plus the fact he adored my son as if he were his own, gave me complete trust in him.

We knew we had found our soul mates. Nick proposed on the 15th of September 2007 and then we welcomed our daughter in February this year. We were married two weeks ago on the 20th of September 2008 and we couldn't be happier! We are hoping for another child and then our perfect family is complete.

My advice to anyone out there searching for love; don't give up! I nearly did and if I had I wouldn't have my husband or had my daughter. What is meant to happen on your journey will happen when it is supposed to. Don't hunt as you wont find the genuine thing... just keep your heart open. Good luck!
