Best money ever spent!

Hannah and JeffI had only just signed up for RSVP to have a browse. I saw a couple of profiles that I found interesting and so I sent out a couple of kisses. One profile in particular caught my eye and that was of a man named Jeff. I went away from my computer for awhile, and the next time I logged on, I had one returned message from Jeff! He passed on his email address and on the 25th January 2008, we chatted online for hours.

After realising we had a connection, we organised to meet at a crowded shopping centre (safety precautions!) the very next day at 1pm. On the 26th, I was very nervous getting organised to meet Jeff. We spoke online and also via webcam that morning to help calm my nerves. As I saw Jeff walking towards me in the shopping centre, my stomach was doing flips. He introduced himself and shook my hand and we proceeded to wander the shopping centre as we talked and calmed our nerves. We both then decided we would go out to the beach and have dinner that night together, so we went for a drive and just talked about ourselves the whole time. Our date ended about midnight that night.

We talked about seeing each other again, and decided that the next day he would come to my home to meet my parents, as they were stressing about me having met someone online. That day, we were going to take my dog to the beach, but instead decided to go on a picnic at the Botanical Gardens. Unfortunately, on the way home, I got a phone call from my dad to say my beloved Labrador had been in an accident and had passed away. Jeff was so calm, considering it was our second date, as I was in hysterics the rest of the way home. He handled it all so well, he came back to my house while my family were all grieving and he helped us bury my gorgeous dog.

We continued to see each other almost everyday from the moment we met, I met his parents about a week into the relationship, and we all get along great. Jeff proposed on the 29th September 08 after asking my dads permission, and I was too happy to accept his proposal. We have recently just purchased our first home together and are happily living life.

Our wedding date has been set for 17th April 2010, with the reception at the Adelaide Zoo, so we are busy saving and planning. We are both so happy we found each other and we have RSVP to thank for connecting us!

Jeff always says I am the best money he ever spent!
