Cupid match delivered The One!

In October 2008 I decided to put myself out there and register with RSVP as I was really finding it hard to get out being a single parent with a toddler. Although I had great friends around me, many are in relationships, expecting babies and married so for me to actually meet anyone was proving impossible.

In November, less than a month later I received a Cupid email and there to my own surprise was the one, I knew by his picture this man was the one. Rottoman, as he called himself, blew me away! We were on the same page, he loved the same things I did; camping, 4wd, Rotto and boating, he also enjoyed music. So I decided to take the plunge and sent him a cheeky grin.

From that moment on he replied saying he wanted to be friends and get to know me. We commenced emailing that day and seemed to have not ended the conversation! It was amazing to finally meet the one that would fit like a glove. Within two days we hooked up on line and chatted for hours and hours, then we spent each night chatting for hours until meeting toward the end of the week. We got to know each other so well on the phone; we laughed and laughed and discovered we had the same passions and tastes in music.

When we finally met on the Friday, which we were both very excited about, it was like we knew each other our whole lives. Darren is a very lovely, good looking man with great morals and values which was of high importance to me. I took my son with me to meet Darren and they hit off, and as we met a park in the city there was plenty of swings to play on. We all hit if off and felt completely at ease with one another. I invited him to dinner at my place that evening which turned out to be the best night ever. We sat up talking and laughing until about 4.00 in the morning. We then spent the weekend together and felt that we had finally found our soul mates!

Since that weekend we have been inseparable and have had a ball together, as we are both very social people we have been meeting friends and family. It such a breath of fresh air to finally meet the man of my dreams who is everything that I was looking for; intelligent, affectionate, sensitive and sensual, loving, loyal, respectful, honouring, safe, trustworthy, open-minded, passionate, outgoing, adventurous, into the ocean, boats and yachts, good sense of humour, great with kids, compassionate, good listener, funny, non-judgemental, good conversationalist, handsome and sexy, domesticated, motivated, good morals and values, social, in touch with his own feelings, loves music, food and chilling out, camping and living it up, positive out look... the list goes on!

Darren also has a nine year old daughter who is amazing for her age, she is very grounded and fun. We are both very much in love and looking forward to a lot more planned adventures away together.


I was pretty well at the end of my resources when I signed up with RSVP and felt that this was the only way I could possibly find my Mr Right. I knew the minute I saw Darren's profile and photo that he was the one, it was in his eyes and smile.

Thank you very much for helping Darren and I find each other, we have never felt this happy in lives and it is because RSVP helped us find each other.
