50 first dates to find the one!

I had been on and off RSVP for a couple of years; it is a fantastic medium when you work full time or are a single parent.
I had been single for several years and had met a few people, but I didn't ever feel that chemistry I was looking for.
At first I would meet people straight away and it got a bit exhausting. When I went to number 1 on the Top 100 the contacts went stir crazy! So I then decided to take my time and get to know a little more about the people that contacted me before I met them. I was becoming renowned as having '50 first dates' like the movie. Everyone seemed nice, but I had nothing in common with them.
Then Brendon sent me a kiss on 19th January 2008 followed by an email. We corresponded via email for a few weeks before I bit the bullet and gave him my telephone number.
We spoke on the phone every night for hours! We were so bleary eyed going into work the next day!
Then he sent me flowers for Valentine's Day and I finally decided to meet him. He knocked on my door with a beautiful arrangement of flowers in a gorgeous vase at 3.00pm Saturday 1st March and took me out for a coffee.
The coffee turned to a pre-dinner drink then dinner at a restaurant in beautiful Glenelg. We walked on the beach and I felt like a teenager (I am 42 he is 50), we even had a kiss. He dropped me off at 3am!
The next day he picked me up on his motorbike, a 1300 big Yamaha XJR, and has converted me into being bike mad since that day. We often go for long rides; we love the outdoors and there is nothing like that exhilaration.
We were inseparable from the beginning, he even flew me to his nephew's wedding in Canberra to meet the family. Then he proposed to me in Canberra on Friday 13th March!
We moved in together in early June with both our kids. Brendon has 2 boys (21 and 17) and I have 3 boys (18, 15 and 12). We then all went to QLD to the theme parks and our family bonding holiday completed us as a combined family. There is no yours or mine, it is ours. They are all our children. And the boys are there for each other and the best of mates. They get along famously, we are so thrilled.
We were married on 30th August 2008 in Glenelg on the HMAS Buffalo restaurant, with our closest family and friends. Our boys made up the bridal party, they were our witnesses and my youngest 2 gave me away. Our honeymoon was a 2000km return bike ride!
The love we have is so very rare and amazing. We are kindred spirits and are so alike in everything, plus we share the common love of our beautiful boys.
We are so very blessed. Thank you RSVP.
