Searching just got easier!

Spend less time searching for someone and more time contacting them with our new search!

Here's a few of the changes and great new benefits:

1. Save time!

We know you're busy so we've tried saving you some time...


• Pre-filled search form
  We pre-load your search form based on your Ideal Partner profile. To take advantage of this feature we recommend updating your Ideal Partner preferences to reflect your most common search.
  
  Quick Tip: if you prefer profiles with "visible photos only" then make sure you select this option in your Ideal Partner. The search form will honour this choice and show you only visible photos.


• Two-way searching
  You can search members who not only match your preferences but also who list you as their ideal match. Simply tick the 'I'm their Ideal Partner' box at the end of the search form (advanced search only).


• Sort your results!
  Now you can prioritise profiles that have higher reply rates allowing you to focus on people more likely to respond. Just watch for the sort by option at the top right hand corner of the search results page.


2. Check out who's Online




To see who's online simply perform a search as you'd normally do and when you get your results click the 'online now' tab to see who in the list is online and ready for an instant chat.


3. Search by any location




We've added a text box for you to enter the location you wish to search for, whether it's a postcode, suburb, city, state or even country. When you begin typing the location, a drop down menu will appear to give you the relevant options that are available.

You can even specify the distance you wish to search from if you select a suburb or postcode location.

If you are entering a city, state or country you can enter more than one location. Simply start typing the next location after the ; (semicolon) symbol following the previous location.


4. Your search - basic or advanced




We've analysed search behaviour on RSVP and implemented either basic or advanced search as a result. The new basic search reflects the search criteria most often used in forming what most people are looking for. It's there to help you get started.

If you're particular about who your matches should be then you'll need our full array of search options. There are so many things you can search for that we've grouped them into categories to make it easier to use.
