Was it coincidence or fate that brought us together?

Antony and Taritta met on RSVPI was on RSVP for about four years and met a few nice ladies but none I wanted to settle down with. I'd just about given up when I received a kiss from someone and her profile name was Hindu Goddess - I was actually on holiday in India at the time (coincidence???) and was worried about putting my credit card details in to a computer there (you never know) and actually went back to the internet Cafe' 3 times before I took the plunge and bought some stamps. I'm soooo glad I did.

We exchanged a couple of emails and arranged to meet when I got back from India. Our first date was a Greens function at a local church hall, it was a Bollywood night with Indian dancing and food (coincidence again?)

We started going out and things went really well. I was laid on my hammock sometime in May when I thought I could spend the rest of my life with Taritta and so decided to ask her to marry me... It took a while though because I did the traditional thing and asked her dad first, then went to Queensland to speak to my brother and cousin (best man in the end) about it.

Then I organised a weekend at Bicheno with dinner at our favourite French restaurant there. I worded up the staff and they were watching through the serving hatch when, after the main course, I got down on one knee and, keeping it simple, said 'Taritta I love you and want you to be my wife. Will you marry me?' The waitresses said it was like a scene from a movie.

FamilyOf course she said yes and it was all very romantic. We didn't want to waste any time and planned to have the wedding in January 2008. That gave us (mostly Taritta) 4 months to plan the big day.

Apart from one of my grooms men having a massive heart attack the week before the wedding (he survived thank god and is well on the way to recovery), one bridesmaid having to walk up the aisle on crutches with a badly twisted ankle, another bridesmaid getting pulled over for speeding after she forgot her dress, another nursing a touch footy injury and one waking up with a tummy bug! the day went perfectly! It was a wonderful day that was enjoyed by all.

We just wanted to say thanks to RSVP for giving us the chance to meet and fall in love.
