The 2009 Tooheys New Royal Randwick Autumn Carnival gets underway on 11 April!

The feature race of the day will be the Group 1 David Jones AJC Australian Derby (2400m) for three year old with $1.6m in prize money on offer.

A top day of racing will also include the Group 1 race, The Galaxy (1100m). Group 2 Chairman's Handicap (2600m), Group 2 Sapphire Stakes (1200m) and the Group 3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m). With over $2.8m in prize money up for grabs the 2009 Tooheys New Royal Randwick Carnival is sure to start with a bang.

Don't forget to dress up in classic racewear (black and white) and you could find yourself winning David Jones Gift cards and a raft of other prizes at Fashions on the Field. The competition is open to best dressed male and female in classic Racewear (black and white) on Derby Day.

The 2009 Tooheys New Royal Randwick Autumn Carnival continues with racing on Easter Monday, 13 April. The day features three listed races - Hall Mark Stakes (1150m), Keith McKay Handicap (1150m) and the Fernhill Handicap (1550m).

The eyes of Australia's sporting fans will turn to Sydney as the 2009 Tooheys New Royal Randwick Autumn Carnival continues on 18 April with Emirates Doncaster Day. The running of the Group 1 Emirates Doncaster Mile (1600m) will be the highlight. With $2m in prize money on offer for the Emirates Doncaster Mile alone it will be a hotly contested race over Royal Randwick's famous mile. One of Sydney's biggest sporting events of the year, the race day features total prize money of over $4m.

Fashions on the Field are back today for the best dressed Couple and a Millinery Award. Prizes include Business Class Emirates airfares on Doncaster Day - amongst other fabulous prizes.

The 2009 Tooheys New Royal Randwick Autumn Carnival wraps up with four Group 1 races and over $2.3m in prize money on offer on April 25. The highlight of the day will be the running of the Schweppes Sydney Cup (3200m). Today is especially for families! The Rose Garden Lawn will be transformed into a fun-filled children's area with a petting zoo, jumping castles, pony, face painting, magicians and clowns, just to name a few!

Furthermore, this year for the first time, Royal Randwick invites all children under the age of 13 to compete for the Best Dressed Boy and Girl in the Fashions on the Field.
