Meet singles at Church

Single churchgoing Man

Posted by RSVP on

If your faith is important to you then it's a fair assumption that you would spend a bit of time in Church, whether it's simply for the Sunday service or you visit the House of God more often for His blessings and guidance. As much as you can be sure of this, you can also be sure that other singles will be doing the same thing.

Attending your Church or undertaking volunteer work is a great way to expand your social network and meet other singles with the same interests and beliefs as yourself. You also have an immediate conversation starter just by talking about your faith or what you are volunteering for.

CandlesIn actual fact, singles make up a large percentage of the group attending Church every week with single women accounting for a quarter of all Christians. Single churchgoing men are a little harder to find but they are there as well at a little over half the number of churchgoing single women.

So, next time you go to Church keep an eye out for that guy, or girl who is regularly there and sitting by them self or not obviously attached. Then be brave and go up to them, you at least know that you have your faith in common which is an excellent place to start. Then worst case scenario you will have made a new friend, and what's so bad about that!
