Which Football code takes your fancy?

Which football code you follow will probably depend on where you live to some degree. Being a New South Welshman I have always followed Rugby League but I have to say that Rugby Union is my favourite. And while I profess to not fully understanding AFL, or Aussie Rules, I do concede the level of skill and fitness in the game is second to none... not to mention the uniforms... well, it is the sexiest code...
And I'm not the only one who thinks so. A recent survey on RSVP showed that 44% of you thought that AFL was the sexiest football code, and no, not all the respondents were Victorian! Second to AFL was NRL in terms of sex appeal. In fact after surfing and tennis, AFL actually rated as the third most sexiest sport of all. And 50% of you said that the AFL uniform was what attracted your interest in the game. So all that running around in tight shorts is definitely paying off boys!
While a football game didn't rate as a very good option for finding a date, makes sense with up to 80,000 people to choose from, 66% of you did say that you would be happy (ok not so much happy as agreeable) to miss your favourite codes grand final for a hot date. I'm very pleased to hear this as first dates that end up in the pub watching the footy don't tend to make it to the second...
So gents, if football is a passion and you don't mind which code maybe you should consider this feedback before you choose which code to commence your pre-season training with! Not only will your body thank you but your legs will get a lot more attention!
