More than just an accent....

Alba is the Scottish Gaelic name for Scotland. Had to get that in before anyone thought it was a spelling mistake.
I'm a 30 year old guy, citizen of Scotland, resident of Australia. Gillard and Co. have recently been kind enough to grant me a more permanent stay in the country which I thought was extremely generous of them. 40 hours of the week I'm a consultant for an IT company and the rest of the time I catch up with mates, punish myself in or out of the gym exercising, read a bit (currently on Scar Tissue), catch gigs or movies and when the snow season is on just day dreaming of my next trip up the mountains.
I've done a fair share of travel and been lucky enough to work in Western Africa and South America but still a lot on the bucket list. I'd say I was pretty competent in the kitchen and love trying new foods and restaurants, could be why Melbourne feels like such a perfect fit.
Still getting to know how this site works and whether it's as much a taboo as traditionally it has been!
