I am a very outgoing, gregarious person who enjoys the company of other people in any setting, from every culture and background. I am a practising Christian and my faith is very important to me. I am of Irish heritage and I have actually kissed the Blarney Stone 'twice'! In other words, I love a good chat! I am someone who is very calm under pressure, patient and above all, very forgiving. I have learnt through my own life about the importance of always looking positively to the future and never dwelling on the past, except to learn and grow from every experience. I love to make people laugh and try to use humour to see the silver lining in even the darkest clouds. I am the father of four beautiful children (13,15,17 &19) who don't live with me and consider them to be my greatest achievement. I love children and have learnt a great deal from the experience of being a father.
I have been a professional musician, conductor, composer and teacher for my whole working life. I love the simple pleasures in life and often wish that more people and situations were less complicated! I love to send gifts to special people in my life just to thank them for being there. I derive my greatest satisfaction by doing good for others and making others feel happy, loved, safe and secure. Unlike other Facebook 'friends' that many people have, if you called me at 3am and needed my help, I will be there. I enjoy history, art, politics, current affairs and intellectual discussion about anything. I have a genuine thirst for knowledge and I am curious about everything. I want to share my life and faith with someone special.
