Now for something different...

I am looking for my partner in crime who can steal my heart and stimulate my mind, body and soul. Absolute musts include someone who has an inquisitive, open mind who loves to chew the fat and whom I find intellectually stimulating. He has an opinion that he isn't afraid of expressing, doesn't see the need to use his intellect to put other people down, has a balanced, nuanced positive outlook on life, isn't easily sold on being politically correct but has a social conscience, who is intellectually honest, kind, empathetic and someone whom I can respect and admire. My ideal mate wants to be in a long term committed relationship that is open to having children and whose children I would welcome with open arms.

In return I will treat you with respect, not contempt. I play fair and I'm not into manipulative mind games or double standards. I believe relationships are a two-way street built on equality and respect. I am a good active listener, nurturing and I always try to give the benefit of the doubt.

In my downtime my interests include the company of good friends, wine, chocolate, a lot of reading, bookshops, markets, TV watching - Australian Story, Q & A, The IT Crowd, Black Books to name a few, independent cinema and general meandering around. My favourite artists include the Beatles, Crowded House, David Bowie, Elton John, The Beach Boys and Stevie Wonder.
