My friends would probably call me dependable, fun and easy-going. I can't stand conflict and am very affectionate. I love animals and treat my dogs like people. I'm at my best when I have goals. I hate scary movies cos I'm a chicken - I'd rather be drink/snack wench, than be forced to sit through one. I have strong opinions and enjoy conversation about meaningful issues but can be as silly or smutty as the best of them when the occassion arises. I value respect, intergrity and social consciousness, and people who have these. I will be happy in my old age if I can see that I have made small but meaningful contributions to the world.

My biggest passions are food and travel. My cooking will tantalise your tastebuds! I've spent a lot of time and money seeing the world and plan to never stop - I think I'm addicted to that feeling you get when you realise you're doing just what you've always dreamed of.

In November I finished my Masters and am now working several survival jobs whilst looking for the perfect opportunity. I'm pretty excited about the potential of it all. I hope my future has a family in it and I dream of building my own home by the coast.

My interests

Music: Very lazy when it comes to music. At the moment, the only time I listen to it is when I'm at the pub or the gym- even the radio in my car is broken (by broken, I really mean that I can't be bothered getting the code from the dealer)! Willing and ready to be educated.

Reading: I read as often as time permits. Shantaram is one of my favs but I will give anything a go. I've recently read a lot of the classics. I also have a pathetic weakness for avon historical romance - don't judge me, there's an odd satisfaction in it!

Movies & TV: As I said, scary movies are a no-go. Doesn't matter how snuggly you think you are...it'll never happen. I love anything Will Ferrel and my all-time fav movie is Pride and Prejudice - the Keira Knightly version.

Sport: Not my strong point. Probably need someone motivated to give me an arse-kicking here.

Other Interests: Other cultures, art/junk markets, interior design, sneaky Sunday beers, avoiding strange new fashion trends. I'm a good hand with a paint brush n canvas, but rarely have the time to get into my studio. I plan to do this more often in the future. I'm also looking into starting my own business soon.
