I'm a passionate and intelligent guy with a great sense of humor... My friends say that I am very honest with myself and my biggest weakness is that I have no tact - I just say what I need to say in as few words as possible... So I can either be engaging, intense and challenging if you are comfortable in your own skin or somewhat blunt and offensive if you are a bit too precious or fragile...

I have pretty much exhausted the possibilities of single life and am now looking for a serious relationship - but have lived and learned enough to know that the mad logic of love doesn't often conform to computer generated programs for relationship success... But I'm here anyway, expecting the unexpected....

I have a PhD, work in my chosen field and have published my first book. I very much enjoy meaningful encounters with self-aware people who have given up trying to be normal... I also run monthly dinner gatherings with a group of friends for people who like stimulating conversation on the big questions (life, the universe, everything...)

I sometimes play live solo/acoustic shows (singing & guitar) in the city from time to time (I call my genre Buddhist/Punk), and this helps me to channel my darker, more emotional side in a constructive/creative way...
