Outdoorsy creative chica venturing back to the big island

I love exploring remote and wild places... and urban landscapes too. I've spent most of the last five years in beautiful Tassie, with a bit of a stint in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado and the wooded lakey area around upstate New York. It's been lots of fun, but I'm ready for a change and keen to stretch my creative side again. Looking forward to the inspiration and diversity that comes with a closer proximity to a big city.
I love playing outside and adventure, but I get as much buzz from random conversations with strangers, and the slices of common ground you find where you least expect them, as I do from pushing my physical limits. I love sharing stories, and have been fortunate to be able to do it for a living as a journalist.
Most of my best adventures have come when 'everything's gone wrong...' Laughter, spontaneity and perspective go a long way!
I value community, independent thinking and integrity...I prioritise people...despise apathy...
