Genuine, independent, relatively sane and amusing, looking for similar

Well the years have rolled by, years where I have focused on my career, lived interstate and traveled the world. I have never been married and lately most social occasions are with couples, made up of old friends. I do have a great time but chances of meeting someone where sparks fly seem remote at times.

I⿿m a witty type of person with people I know well, and a sense of humor that borders on dry. I have been to Europe several times and the Alps region is my favorite destination. I stay active by running during the week, playing tennis and a member of a golf club.

I⿿m old fashioned in some ways. I like old world craftsmanship and have been known to splash out on a quality early Australian piece of furniture. I would rather stay at a heritage listed hotel than say a Crown Casino. Show me a 100 year old cottage rather than a McMansion any day.

I do have goals in life and while I⿿m not a totally driven person I have learnt from life experiences and would not describe myself as a fool. However I⿿m always ready to laugh at myself and take the good breaks with the bad.

In summing up I'm an independent, caring, kind, generous and funny, and that's even before I can think of my really good points.......
