A curious person seeking adventure, laughter, happiness, love, and a good burrito in Australia, not necessarily in that order.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and still have the accent to prove it. Since then I've lived in San Francisco, Nashville, Cardiff, Rio de Janeiro, and now Sydney.
I come from a big family - 16 nieces and nephews and counting. I even know most of their names. I'm independent and open minded. I'm easy to get along with. I like smart people, dumb jokes, new experiences, and pleasant company.
I'm new to Oz, having moved here to work at a uni (and also for the hot Aussie accents), so I'm keen to meet new people and explore the city.
My favorite activity is traveling. I'm 33 years old and I've been to 33 countries - would like to increase that rate in case I don't live 200 years. I'm good at getting lost, making bad puns, and converting fahrenheit to celisius.
I love listening to music, anything from punk rock to dancehall reggae. The first gig I ever went to was Type O Negative, which was terrific, and the best gig I ever went to was the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I also adore Brazilian music, especially tropicalia and samba.
And of course, I love to eat! Mexican, indian, sushi, pizza, thai, ethiopian, vietnamese, anything spicy. Also a chocoholic. I can get very excited about food...
