I'm an easy going, fun-loving, intelligent guy who is looking for that someone special to share life's adventures with. I'm hard-working, honest, loyal, kind and caring.
I work as a software engineer, so I'm a bit of a nerd/geek, but I have good social skills. All of my friends are either married or have long-term partners, and I'm a bit over being the only single guy, so I figured it was time take the plunge and try the online dating thing.
I don't drink, but that doesn't stop me having a good time and it makes me an excellent candidate for designated driver. I also don't like watching football (of any kind), so you definitely won't find me glued to the couch with a beer in my hand watching the NRL/AFL/union/soccer matches all weekend.
I really enjoy travelling and have travelled through Europe and the United States. I have also visited Canada, China and New Zealand on work trips. However travelling is never as much fun on your own, so it would be great to find someone to share these experiences with.

- I like pretty much everything except country and heavy metal. Not a huge fan of hip-hop or techno. Mostly listen to top 40 (mainly NXFM/NewFM on the radio). Favourites include U2, Coldplay, Phil Collins, Live, Matchbox Twenty, Evermore, Lighthouse Family, Enigma, David Gray among others.
- Reading
- I really enjoy reading but I don't get as much time to read as I would like. Mostly read fiction. Currently working my way through the A Song of Fire and Ice (Game of Thrones) series by George R. R. Martin. Favourites include Ken Follett, John Grisham, James Patterson, Lee Child, David Baldacci
- Movies & TV
- I really enjoy watching movies and TV shows. I'll watch anything. I must admit I am a sucker for a good chick flick. Movies: The Shawshank Redemption, The Guardian, Love and Other Drugs, PS I Love You. TV: Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, White Collar, Suits, The Mentalist, Revenge, Bones, Castle
- Sport
- Not really the sporty type. Cycling/mountain bike riding to keep fit. Have played tennis and indoor soccer (not well) in the past. I really enjoy skiing/snowboarding when I can find time. Not much of a gym-goer, but I'll happily tag along if that's your thing. Like watching the Formula 1.

- I enjoy travelling, dinners and hanging out with friends, live music, live comedy, crosswords.
