Resolution for 2013 is for new beginnings. Finding someone to share what life has to offer and to enjoy every moment as it comes.

Finding myself at a point in life where my family is grown and taking care of themselves, it is now time for me to find someone who is at a similar phase in their life. I enjoy the simple things. With the right person I am a romantic and affection comes easily, where often the exchanging of small sensitive, loving gestures can speak volumes.

I do enjoy cooking for my family, but look forward to now cooking for someone special, who would be very welcomed to join me in preparing either a family meal or a romantic dinner for two whilst chatting over the days events with a glass of wine or your drink of choice.

I want to further my travel experiences and discover what the world has to offer. My ideal travel companion would be just as comfortable cruising with friends or sitting at that resort pool, with drink in hand, feeling totally relaxed as the sun sets on the day.

I enjoy planned or impromptu events, dinner at your favourite restaurant, I like italian and seafood, but need to try new things, its nice to dress up now and again, but quite nights in are often simple and enjoyable. Sundays are a good time to go for walks, visit markets, enjoy a coffee out and about and catch up with friends.

My interests

Music: I can listen to almost any type of music from the 80's to most of the current stuff, although my kids through the years have tested me with what they call music. At times, choice of music depends on the mood of the day or night.

Reading: Not a big reader, depends on how much time I have on my hands. Actually recipes and DIY idea books probably top the list

Movies & TV: I enjoy a good murder thriller (without the gore), chick flicks go without saying as they always leave you feeling good, dramas based on true stories intrigue me and I don't mind action movies.

Sport: With 2 boys, many a week-end has been spent on the sideline for baseball, football and soccer, but the best sporting events are the backyard cricket matches

Other Interests: Starting to dabble into a bit of craft, putting together the family memories and my travel experiences
