Jeez, where do I start?? I love a laugh - and I can appreciate it even when it's me that looks like the idiot (well most times anyway!). I am an honest person and can't stand game players. I have to admit that I don't bear fools particularly well but other than that, I'm fairly tolerant! I think this is helped by the fact that I've travelled a fair bit as well as living overseas for a year and would like to travel again one day! I would one day love to see Peru - hike the Inca trail! My hands down best travel experience was 3 months on the back of a truck through Africa. Best experience of my life standing a few metres from a silverback gorilla.
I do like to sing in the car... and the shower... and just around the house. I love music so I'm rarely without some music playing in some form. I cry at films (saw Les Miserables yesterday and that's a good example- I almost had to go on a drip after it lol). I can be very social but also need some quiet time to recharge my batteries like most people. I'm pretty passionate about things that I believe in and this includes my footy team! I spend a bit of time trying to get a veggie garden going... the hot spell hasn't done me any favours... I think all my lettuces are beyond help! Any gardening tips gratefully accepted!

My interests

Music: A lot of different stuff. Big Springsteen fan, a lot of newer country (NOT country and western - there's a difference, people!), Green Day, Pink, The Decemberists, Maroon 5, and a lot of older stuff. Hard to put them all down in one place really....

Reading: I do like to read a lot- love a good gory murder - Patricia Cornwell, Kathy Reichs, James Patterson. Then master storytellers like Bryce Courtenay and Ken Follett. And then just for fun sometimes chick lit like Marian Keyes.

Movies & TV: Good movies never go out of date - love the old melodramas from the 1940s and 50's. Obviously also like girly movies as well but also appreciate action movies. Ill watch most type of movies as long as it's entertaining. HUGE Russell Crowe fan so anything will him in it will generally make me happy!

Sport: I don't really play any sport anymore but I do like to keep fit. I do like to watch sport so during winter, I'll generally be glued to the tv watching the footy! Cricket, tennis, most sports I can watch.. .golf i find a bit on the boring side but I am quite proud to say that I have a putter!

Other Interests: I am an animal lover so you'd need to love animals too! Like to go out socialising with friends, love going to see bands.
