I'm looking for a man who appreciates Heavy Metal & Alternative Music, who is musically inclined and has a long head of hair to thrash around.

I divorced 7 years ago due to an extremely violent ex husband of 17yrs. I'm looking for a kind, real man. I'm an Accountant / Taxation Bookkeeper and have been self employed since 2000. I have 2 beautiful children in a shared care situation. My son is 14 and my daughter is 11. We've been through a lot of drama due to my ex husband who has since remarried (thank god) but that hasn't stopped him from making our live's difficult. That's a long ugly story but we're doing OK these days. My children mean everything in the world to me that's why I haven't bothered looking for a relationship since we separated in 2006. I turned 40 last December so I thought I'd better start looking for someone special before it's too late. Before I had children I liked to party hard, but I've settled down quite considerably. I'm a social drinker but only have a couple if the mood is right. I enjoy a good movie, science and documentaries. I wish I was a better cook because I love gardening and growing vegies. Since having children 14 years ago I've settle down quite a bit and enjoy my quiet time, but when I get board, and my children are staying at their fathers, I like to get up to a little mischief.
