Nice guy seeks nice girl.
I'm chilled out, happy, easy going guy. I love travelling (but who doesn't these days?!) and am a well seasoned traveller. I still love my backpacking around the world in cheap dodgy hostels but I'm also going for some slightly more luxurious trips these days too! Actually just got back from a lovely holiday in Mauritius where I learnt kite surfing and went backpacking for a month around the Philippines for Christmas/NY which was absolutely amazing.
I'm pretty obsessed with sailing and race a catamaran during the summer and love hitting the road and heading to sailing regattas off some beautiful beaches all up the coast. If I'm not sailing, on a weekend I'll be bush walking or fishing or doing something outdoors. I have to admit in winter I do tend to hibernate a little, cook hearty warming food, drink lots of red wine and do my other obsession - skiing (whenever there is enough snow!). So I guess you could say I'm outdoorsy but I also like my city lifestyle too, i.e. going out to nice restaurants/bars, festivals etc.
I also love cooking all kinds of food but Indian, Italian and French are my forte. I am more a mains cook so would be nice to find a girl who can do the dessert! My time is also taken up learning French after work as I'm bit of a Francophile.

- I like to keep an open mind with music. Like anything from my dad's era like Pink Floyd or Rolling Stones to 80s cheese like Duran Duran, to modern Indie (UK, US and Aussie), all kinds of chilled out electronica like Massive Attack. Oddly I also absolutely love Drum 'n' Bass music!
- Reading
- Mostly non-fiction books on travel and history. Sailing tactics books. Spend my day reading Wikipedia, BBC News and The Economist!
- Movies & TV
- I don't watch much on the TV these days but - I am watching Masterchef because my boss managed to get onto it which is pretty cool! Also loved Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones and I also like documentaries and things like Bear Grylls.
- Sport
- Sailing, sailing and more sailing! Then fishing, skiing, running and I'm also doing a lot of bootcamp at the moment to get ready for a Tough Mudder on the Sunshine Coast in August.
