I don't think I'm cut out for this online dating thing. Phone conversations and face to face seem extinct. Care to prove me wrong?

please let me point out before you read any further. I am a mum of three children who live with me most of the time. much of my day to day includes them but I can arrange time away...so if this is acceptable to you, please continue reading. If not have a nice day :)

I am not happy with my profile saying a bit overweight and am training hard to fix that. Im kicking butt might I add!! though a little motivation never hurt or a training partner wink wink nudge nudge.
I love to have a laugh, usually at my own expense and can nearly always find the fun in any situation. On the other hand know when serious is required.
I love to wander through markets, quirky shops, little towns and stop anywhere that takes my fancy on road trips.
I like a bit of DIY and can be quiet handy with a screwdriver hammer etc.. I'm not worried about getting my manicured fingers dirty lol. I kick ass at IKEA builds :)
Other cultures and out of the ordinary experiences fascinate me and I love to immerse myself if the opportunity presents(v8, summernats, camping, fishing, rodeo and most other "blokey" things included).
Most things are more enjoyable to share with someone special.
I consider myself to be honest, independent, happy, reliable, easy going, loyal and determined (a good or bad thing you decide). I don't believe in the "dating rules" If I like you then you will know about it. I will want to text and talk regularly, having said that I don't need to live out of your pocket just communicate and keep moving forward.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words but give me a thousand words in real life any day!
