In it to win it.

Took a good part of last year off to live and travel in Europe but was pleased to return to Sydney. Would always like to have travel on the agenda and prefer to blend in with the locals rather than stand out as a tourist. I have a passion for cooking and grow my own herbs to complement. Recently flew my first solo (in a light aircraft) and love activities in the great outdoors. Have been on a road trip across Australia from Sydney to Perth and would love to spend time in The Kimberley.

I believe in having schedular plasticity, so don't identify with a strict 9-5 day. However, I do feel strongly about having a passion for work and working hard at it; approaching things from a different angle; thinking creatively.

Was never into the clubbing scene, but I enjoy going out and socialising. A relaxed atmosphere always goes down well: lazy picnics, bbqs, theatre, outdoor cinema, coffee in a bookstore....

Music: I have a really varied playlist which includes contemporary music as well as jazz, blues, Latin American, classics, opera, Spanish guitar, rock...

Reading: I love reading. LOTS. Nothing fluffy either. Recent reading has included Aussie Steve Toltz's A Fraction of the Whole; Hemmingway's A Moveable Feast; Kasparov's How life imitates Chess. Got any book recommendations? Would love to hear them.

Movies & TV: Generally no horror, violence, overly girly-flicks, crass or rude films... Having said that, I usually like something from most genres. Prefer foreign films about the quirky things in everyday life to mind-numbing 'saving-the-world' blockbusters with no plot line. I like the humour of the Brits.

Sport: From the highs of aviation to the depths of scuba, I am drawn to exploring the world. Bushwalking, jogging (when it's not too hot!) and swimming are all good fillers. Lately am really into ping pong! Not much of an indoor-gym buff: I like sports outdoors. Frisbee is fun.
