okay, i think the meds have kicked in. so... what's your credit card number?
firstly, if you're reading this and it's cause i kissed you and you're thinking to yourself 'what'd he wanna go and do that for? this guy's half a country away', i ask only that you take a moment to consider the advantages of casting the net a little wider.
anyway...
i'm a cook foremost. i do it all the time. sometimes i do it for 16 hours at work then come home and do it a little bit more. you hungry?
i wasn't joking about the meds. well, okay i was a little, but i do take medication for bipolar everyday and that freaks some people out. can't say why. anyway, if it freaks you it would seem foolish of you to read on.
ummm (i like saying ummm, possibly to corner the conversation while i think of what to say next)...
i would love to breathe more air into my lungs, contemplate some clouds and dive into the cool blue sea. i would love to do those things more. when i get the work bit between my teeth though i sometimes have trouble spitting it out again.
i like to make people laugh, i like to talk and listen. what's more i've found that of the 45% of most of our lives that is generally pretty tedious (dishes, laundry, vacuuming, removing the gungy stuff that builds up in the filters of top loading washing machines), all of it is 95% less tedious when someone you dig is in the general vicinity. obviously the percentages cited are questionable at best.
oh and one more thing, i think all the kiss options are a little lame so if i did send you one please imagine i'm actually saying 'hey... 'sup?' or some such inspired thing like that.

i don't know, just someone amazing. someone with a sense of wonder not to mention a sense of humour. who is grounded but likes the air up there. who likes themselves and likes me also. being handy with a surfboard or chainsaw, though a definite plus, is not essential.

- yes like all sorts of music as long as it's not too corny, soppy, melancholy or head achingly repetitive. i play the guitar a little too and sing and would like to do so more often.
- Reading
- i can read, even some quite complicated words, mostly without moving my lips, but i tend not to. when i do i like mark twain, irvine welsh, milan kundera, jrr tolkien, mary shelly, sue townsend and kathy lette to name a few.
- Movies & TV
- although i've now realised i will never watch every film ever made, i've decided to keep trying. it's not so much the movies i like as the ones i don't. 'heartbreakers' for one and wes craven's 'the swamp thing' for the other. tv is fine as long as it's either on dvd, iview or sbs.
- Sport
- for me sport is all about deciding on a team to go for and then yelling a lot... mainly at the referee. tennis is a good game though i'm not very good at it. love soccer, especially indoor, like to run and try to keep fit, with varying degrees of success.
- Other Interests
- pretty much anything that i don't know much about. which is a whole bunch of things. i've got a diploma in professional writing and like to try string words together successfully. politics between people, what animals are thinking and how trains could be better than planes.
