Hey there,
I have been living in Sydney for the past 4 years & very soon I will be classed as a 'faired dinkum Ozzie' as I will be receiving Australian citizenship in the next few months. So hard to believe as I can't even put on an Australian accent! I am originally from Ireland but have lived away from home since I was 18 & in between leaving home, studying & travelling all over the world I have managed to end up in Sydney, it's been very hard to leave.... I love the cosmopolitan lifestyle that it offers & there is always something going on.
When I am not working, I am usually catching up with friends. I have such an amazing and diverse set of friends that there is always something interesting to do. At the moment one of my friends is trying to rope me into cycling from Sydney to Adelaide with her, initially I thought it was sheer madness but I am now kinda warming to the idea....it will be a challenge to say the very least!
Working in healthcare I enjoy volunteering & last year I had the opportunity to go to Papua new guinea with an Australian organization called 'Operation Open Heart' for a couple of weeks. It was such an amazing & rewarding experience & puts everything into perspective. I plan on going again this year.
Overall I feel pretty fulfilled but of course it would be nice to meet someone special. Slowly getting used to the idea of using on line dating as an avenue to meeting someone but I figure at the very least I might meet some interesting people.
I am looking for someone similar to me, down to earth, easy going, funny & they need to be able to have a good laugh. Ultimately there also needs to be a spark!

- Enjoy reading biographies & the paper. Dislike novels.

- Don't watch too much tv but always seem to watch the 22.30 news . Over the past few years have enjoyed Summer Heights High, Peep Show, Father Ted & Grand Designs. As far as movies go I dislike the cinema and much rather watch a film at home, love anything with a good plot or a thriller.
- Sport
- Cycling, Running, am planning on signing up to a dragon boat racing club which I think will be heaps of fun. Love trekking, especially when I am traveling. As for being a spectator I am looking forward to the world cup in South Africa. (On T.V I'm afraid)
