What's life without a little love?

People tend to enjoy conversations with me. I like to think about things, perhaps sometimes too hard. People say I can be funny too though. I'm a kind person, but don't like my kindness being seen as a weakness to be exploited. I like to reciprocate good will. To me the key to a better world is reciprocating the goodness in each other.

I like to spend my time pottering. I'm not a very on-the-go person. I like to take things in my stride. I guess that's why I like reading a lot and going on long walks. I like to take time to absorb things and reflect upon them. Sometimes I'll stop and observe the way the sunlight reflects off a body of water, or the way the wind sounds blowing through the trees, or how people engage in something. The way this all fits into a greater context of things.

I do a bit of writing and I've written a novella, although it's not published. I'm not a very good writer. Writing can be a frustrating task at times, but it's given me a sense of purpose.

I'm unashamedly highbrow and like to talk about intellectual topics. I have a passion for politics. I don't like sport and am not a very blokey bloke. I'm mind focussed, not career focussed and the only wealth I have to offer is my heart and soul.
