Ready to try again and I still have much to offer!
Just thought it time that I had another go at making this idea of a relationship work. Have not been able to do that to date and as a result my past is my past.
Not totally free of baggage but I am working on it. Believe that I have plenty to offer THE RIGHT LADY. I guess you will need to take me as you find me, I cannot be someone you want me to be, I am who I am and I ask that you accept and respect that about me. Life has been a little tough and some days I struggle a bit but generally I manage allthough I could not say that I have it all together all of the time!
Still, I have my sense of humour, I am active, fit, much better in small settings but can communicate on any level when challenged and could even discuss how to save the world with the right person! Opinionated but love a gutsy debate at the same time. Not fond of controlling type persons!
But really, life has been a journey both good and not so good at times however after 50+ odd years I have a wisdom and knowledge that can only come with life, age and experience! Plenty more to learn I know but look forward to that with interest.

- Music
- Have a wide range of music interest with rock and county rock being at the head of my list. Guess my age tells the story of my musical taste, my knowledge probably ended after the disco scene? I never really embraced the more modern styles and to this day I like music that I can understand the lyric
- Reading
- Love to read. Am an avid daily newspaper reader but do like to get my teeth into a good mystery novel from time to time. Also enjoy reading/research on history and like to read about the people who have shaped our history. As a Christian I do like to read my Bible.
- Movies & TV
- Always enjoy a good comedy and think the British do that best. And I do like action movies to have some substance as well and rather than smash and bang visual effects I like the acting to be the guts of a movie. Can watch most movies after having said all that.
- Sport
- Ah, sport. Yeah, I am an Aussie so sport has always been a big part of my life both as a participant and as a spectator. Being a county lad I guess sport was somewhat a way of life for many years and I still enjoy the personal involvement or being a spectator or TV viewer.
- Other Interests
- Guess I have changed my interest lists over the years. Age again is a factor here, I now mostly enjoy a slighly slower pace in life so the garden, cooking, reading etc have moved to the top of the list. But I am always open to new ideas.
