Western Star Signs

SCORPIO symbol SCORPIO
CANCER symbol CANCER

Both of you have strong, deep feelings and you bond very intensely. Consequently you can become very attached to each other and cling tightly to each other. However, your emotional natures are different in many ways too. Cancer often feels more compassion and sympathy for someone, while Scorpio may view Cancer's feelings as sentimentality. When wounded, Scorpio becomes resentful and vindictive. Cancer, on the other hand, cries or sulks, and usually lets the other person know (verbally or nonverbally) about it. Scorpio, by contrast, hides it.

You have a rapport and understanding of one another that is instinctive and non-verbal, and you could be very tight friends. You both can be very possessive also.

Learn to dance together. Intangibles play a great role in your life together. To share greater success, develop a greater understanding of the interconnectedness and interdependence of all forms of life. In other words, develop your empathy, compassion and emotional rapport.

Essentially, Cancer is a good person who needs to deal with family and emotional issues. Cancer's hugs are world class and Cancer's snuggles are second to none. Cancer is naturally inclined to be touchy about some, but not all relatives and needs to work on the family tree and make some sense of it all.

Scorpio is a strong-willed individual, an extremely good friend, a formidable enemy, and prone to intense likes and dislikes. Scorpio lives in the world of black and white. Scorpio has little time for superficial people, places or things. Cancer has moods that change about four times a day, every two and a half days, every month and every 18 or 19 years. Cancer needs to make the most of these cycles, and establish goals with corresponding deadlines.

Although Scorpio and Cancer are well suited elementally, there are differences sexually. You are driven by the purely sensual and sexual aspects of a relationship. You need a lot more passion than Cancer. Cancer needs love and bonding before they can express unbridled passion.
